Now is the time to learn more and be part of the Scenic Eclipse II inaugural season in Australia, the South Pacific and East Antarctica regions. Here's a selection of once-in-a-lifetime experiences you can enjoy on board our newest ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht.
Cultural immersion by helicopter^
Scenic Eclipse II will be the only ship sailing in the Kimberley with two on board helicopters^, providing guests with the most expansive program in the region. Beyond witnessing magnificent landscapes such as Talbot Bay and Horizontal Falls in flightseeing experiences, during the Uncover the Kimberley Coastline: An Ancient Wilderness voyages, you can explore further than any other cruise operator with immersive tours that will take you deep into the local culture and ancient traditions.
In the Lacepede Islands, fly over sparkling waters for a private tour of Willie Creek Pearls, a family-run pearl farm just north of Broome. Take a boat ride along the oyster leases on Willie Creek, learn what makes the perfect pearl and open your own oyster to see what could be inside. The Kimberley region has a rich pearling history dating back almost 150 years, and this is a fantastic way to be involved in it.
In the Buccaneer Archipelago, take in island views from above before landing at the remote Ardyaloon community on the Dampier Peninsula. Visit the Ardyaloon Hatchery to feed barramundi and meet the resident green turtle.

Heli-fishing in the Kimberley^
With two state-of-the-art helicopters^ flying simultaneously directly from your Discovery Yacht, guests on the Uncover the Kimberley Coastline: An Ancient Wilderness voyages will enjoy opportunities to catch a mangrove jack, cod, salmon or maybe even the legendary big barramundi. The experienced Scenic Eclipse II helicopter pilots will guide guests to the best fishing spots, whether it be saline coastline flats, floodplain and barrage systems, billabongs or near the spectacular gorges – the search for the "big Barra" is a remarkable experience.
Depending on the day's catch, there's an option to bring your fish back on board to be expertly prepared for a meal at Elements or Koko's Asian Fusion. You can also take part in a cooking class with the talented Scenic Eclipse II culinary team at Chef's Garden @ Epicure.
With limited availability, guests need to pre-register for helicopter fishing experiences in the Kimberley by contacting their local Travel Advisor or Scenic's reservations team at 844.458.1058.
