The last two years has taught us that changes can happen, and we want to ensure your peace of mind when booking with us. Scenic has included a Flexible Booking Policy which allows guests to defer travel and transfer to an alternate departure or itinerary or cancel up to 60 days prior to travel, with no Scenic Group fees on all new 2022 bookings. For cancellations, the value of the booking will be applied as a Future Travel Credit (FTC) which is valid for 24 months. We have also released a special Platinum Protection Plan, when added to your booking you can cancel up to 31 days and receive a full refund or a 70% refund between 15 and 30 days prior to departure.

We continue to work closely with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and local and international Government Health agencies, to ensure our protocols exceed the latest regulatory requirements. Our Health & Safety Steering Committee oversees all health and safety policies and training with Scenic, ensuring you can travel with complete confidence that your wellbeing and safety are taken care of to the highest standard. From the moment you board Scenic Eclipse, a 5-star Scenic river cruise ship or join a handcrafted land journey, our highly-skilled staff will ensure your wellbeing is their number one priority. Our Captains, Hotel Managers, Cruise and Tour Directors, alongside their exceptional teams, have all been trained and regularly briefed on all aspects in preventing COVID-19 amongst themselves as well as our guests. They will go beyond the ordinary to make your cruise a truly exceptional experience, and ensure all health and safety protocols are followed meticulously each day.
On board Scenic Eclipse is a medical team, who have been trained and have experience with COVID-19 protocols and responses. One doctor and two nurses ensure the safety of our guests are prioritised. Our medical staff regularly brief our Captains, Hotel Managers and Cruise Directors, alongside their exceptional teams.
This also extends to our land journeys, and our excursions on both ocean and river cruises. All land partners have been carefully selected for their expertise and high levels of service, and are committed to ensuring your safety. You will travel in smaller groups, allowing for a more intimate travel experience, whilst respecting social proximity and destination specific regulations.

Innovative Ship Design
An abundance of personal space is available on our voyages thanks to a combination of ample spacious surrounds and low guest numbers. There are only 200 guests on board in Antarctica and the Arctic, and 228 in other regions on Scenic Eclipse. And 163 guests on board our Scenic Space-Ships found on the Europe waterways. Contact-free hand sanitiser dispensers can be found in all public spaces, and automated doors minimise touchpoints. In luxury suites, independent air circulation systems ensure there is no re-circulation of inside air. When you are in your suite, you are only breathing in the fresh air outside the ship. And the air inside your suite is released to the outside.
